Post-Integration Verification

After installing, confirm the setup from your browser console:

Then check the Network tab for a POST request to /collect carrying an x-api-key header. If you're using a dataLayer mode, also trigger a dataLayer push and confirm the resulting event reaches the collector exactly once.

Common Pitfalls​

  • data-apiKey instead of data-api-key — the SDK never starts, silently.
  • A hardcoded tag with data-api-key already on the page — any separate window.b2mConfig (e.g. from GTM) is ignored.
  • Two tags with data-api-key on the same page — only the first one found is used; remove the duplicate.
